Kevin Zinger is an entrepreneur, entertainment industry executive, and documentary film producer with a career spanning over 30 years. He has built a self-contained empire, including renowned companies like Regime Music Group, SRH, Suburban Noize Records, and produced feature films like the award-winning Netflix documentary “Saving Banksy.”
At 19, Zinger was producing and promoting shows across San Diego County, even though he was not legally old enough to enter the clubs he promoted. This venture evolved into "SRH - Supporting Radical Habits - Productions," a lifestyle brand and clothing line co-owned with Ryan White for three decades.
Zinger and White played a role in the rise of the SoCal music and action sports scene, promoting bands like Sublime, Pennywise, and Offspring throughout Southern California. “It was pre-internet and before social media. We built scenes through word of mouth and punk-rock street promotion. What came out of that scene and how it affected SoCal culture is something I’m very proud of,” Zinger recalls.
Naturally, Zinger began managing the bands he booked, handling everything from touring to daily administration. He now co-directs The Regime 72 Management firm with Ivory Daniel, overseeing a team of industry professionals who support high-profile clients across music, art, film, and sports. Their roster includes Sublime, House Of Pain, Lettuce, Everlast, Evidence, Steel Pulse, Amigo The Devil, Tower Of Power, and more.
Zinger recently made headlines across the industry when he began co-managing the legendary Long Beach, CA trio Sublime alongside Joe Escalante. Sublime’s surviving members, Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson, reunited for an unforgettable set at this year's Coachella with original lead singer Bradley Nowell’s son, Jakob.
Under Kevin Zinger and Joe Escalante's management, the reunited Sublime released their first new song in 28 years, titled “Feel Like That,” featuring vocals from the late Bradley Nowell. The song brought Sublime back to the Alternative Airplay Charts, reaching the Top 10 on the Alternative Mediabase Charts. Additionally, Sublime's catalog consumption grew by over 40%, and the band surpassed 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify. During this same period under his management, Sublime performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and received critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, Billboard, and more.
Zinger co-founded The Empire Agency, a booking agency representing over 100 artists and bands, Buckshot Art Gallery, and popular rock-reggae website ThePier.org. Additionally, he operates eight independent record labels under the Regime Music Group, including Suburban Noize Records, Liars Club, Battle Axe, and Island Empire Records. With hundreds of records in the top 100, an Emmy, and a closet full of Grammy awards, his label group, Regime Music Group, is a leading independent label in the industry.
Zinger also runs the Skratch N’ Sniff radio program with hosts Malcolm Ryker and Allison Hagendorf. The weekly two-hour rock remix radio show is currently heard on over 55 stations across both Alternative and Active Rock formats, blending rock and hip-hop tracks for radio audiences.
